HOW DO I QUALIFY?


The following requirements are basic. Everyones application is looked at individually and some applications may require more information.



  1. BulletHave not owned a home in the past 3 years (exceptions may apply)

  2. BulletHave income at or below the 80% median income level for HOME funds consideration (see chart at right)

  3. BulletHave adequate income to support monthly mortgage payments

  4. BulletHave “workable” credit history

  5. BulletHave 2-year employment history in the same line of work

  6. BulletAttend a once a week Homeownership Education Class for seven weeks

  7. BulletProvide all other necessary documentation for the lending institution
